The Urban Electric Co.

For 20 years, The Urban Electric Co. has blended modern American manufacturing with sophisticated design to produce made-to-order, highly customizable, heirloom-quality lighting. Each fixture is bench-made and hand-finished at the company’s factory in Charleston, SC and found throughout distinctive homes and commercial spaces around the world.

The Urban Electric Co. illuminates House of Matouk with such pieces as a dramatic, show stopping Needles Hang pendant, inspired by the lanterns of legendary London nightclub Annabel's, as well as picture lights and floral-inspired sconces gracing the walls.

Marmi Stone

For over 50 years, Marmi has provided unparalleled natural stone, brilliantly designed objects and exceptional service to top architects, designers and contractors worldwide, allowing its customers and partners access to the richest inventory from quarries across the globe. Marmi also offers “Editions,” a collection of readily available pieces that blend exclusive materials and artisanal expertise, in such product categories as mantels and bath. 

House of Matouk is pleased to showcase Marmi’s organic Italian marbles - from cloudy grays and warm whites to stunning Calacatta Viola, in the form of side tables and atop flooring and countertops lining hallways, powder rooms and kitchens.

The Hudson Company

Founded in 1995, The Hudson Company is a boutique mill that manufactures custom wood flooring, paneling, and beams from its 35,000 square foot mill in Pine Plains, NY. Nature’s design genius shines through every one of Hudson’s products, whose origins can range from 19th century buildings to managed timber stands throughout Europe and the United States. Each Hudson finish is applied by hand in a low-build, low-sheen treatment that reveals the natural characteristics of the wood.

The Hudson Company’s purpose-cut, European Oak makes up House Of Matouk flooring and delivers a fine, subtle grain that serves as a generous backdrop to our additional design elements.

Waterworks

Waterworks is the world’s premiere design resource for the bath and kitchen, with exclusive offerings spanning fittings, fixtures, cabinetry, surfaces and accessories. Each product is crafted through a unique collaboration involving designers, craftsmen, artisans and manufacturers and graces the most celebrated private homes and commercial properties internationally, from Soho House Paris to the Waldorf Astoria Beijing. 

Waterworks' iconic unlacquered brass fixtures can be found throughout House of Matouk, while its striking, freestanding Empire tub serves as a focal piece to our bath collection.

Schumacher

Schumacher has been synonymous with style since its founding in 1889 by Frederic Schumacher. As a family-owned company, Schumacher continues to uphold a passion for beauty, quality and innovation across its vast array of fabric, wallcoverings, trims, furniture, rugs, pillows and more. Each of Schumacher’s wide-ranging collections is united by a respect for classicism and an eye for the cutting edge and, as a collaborator of the brand, Matouk is proud to carry on its legacy and heritage through our own printed collections.

House of Matouk is delightfully adorned by Schumacher’s hand-selected fabrics, including grey boucle and Zeta Handwoven textures atop stools, a four-posted bed upholstered in Kumar Silk Matka fabric, window treatments and mural-inspired wallcoverings in nature-themes, such as Italian Promenade and Livia’s Garden.

Elson & Company

Elson & Company was founded in 1997 in San Francisco by Diane Elson Bankoff. Following a trip to Nepal and Tibet, she longed to bridge the art of traditional Tibetan weaving with a fresh take on timeless design. Each Elson carpet is handmade in Kathmandu by masters of traditional weaving techniques, who transform the finest high-altitude Himalayan wool into gorgeous, colorful, and long-lasting carpets. 

An array of rugs by Elson & Company enhance House of Matouk, including several styles from its collaboration with Oscar de la Renta.
